1. F*ck the Small Talk
⭐Although this was a 'submitted' event, I decided to include it in this section, thinking the newsletter community would enjoy meeting new people.
F*ck the Small Talk is a social event where you meet in small groups for conversations designed to move beyond typical icebreakers. The evening starts with a short introduction and group games, followed by several rounds of guided discussions using question cards. The event is limited to 30 participants to keep the setting small and relaxed. More info.

2. Opera Festival at the Berlin State Opera
The Festival Days at the Berlin State Opera take place each year around Easter, featuring opera performances and concerts. Established in 1996, the festival has built a program that combines premieres with new stage adaptations of opera classics, attracting an international audience. The program.

📅 11 Apr (Fri) - 21 Apr (Mon)
3. YOKO ONO: DREAM TOGETHER
YOKO ONO: DREAM TOGETHER at Neue Nationalgalerie presents works spanning Yoko Ono’s career, with a focus on participation rather than passive viewing. You begin with Cleaning Piece (1996), reflecting on personal memories through piles of river stones, and continue by folding paper cranes for peace, gradually filling the space. In Mend Piece (1966), you repair broken ceramics, while Play It By Trust (1966/1991) features a chess game played entirely with white pieces, requiring memory and cooperation. Outside the gallery, a single Wish Tree (1996) stands in front of the museum, connecting the exhibition to Yoko’s parallel show at Gropius Bau. More info.

4. STAUB - Party
This Berlin-based collective organizes techno parties known for keeping the lineup a surprise, with DJs who are consistently solid. The upcoming party takes place at ://about blank. Unlike many other events, this one happens during the day, making it an option for those who prefer not to stay out all night. More info.
⭐I went to their 12th-year anniversary party at the same location during the day, and it was fun. I also met a few people from the newsletter! The crowd was a bit older than at typical club parties, which made for a different vibe.

6. WAA x La Bourriche : Your French-inspired Afternoon
Our friends at WAA are hosting a casual Saturday pop-up in collaboration with La Bourriche, focused on fresh food, natural wine, and relaxed conversation. The idea is simple: spend an afternoon in good company, share thoughts, and connect without the pressure of formal networking. The menu includes oysters with fresh bread and salted butter, shrimp or mushroom brioche rolls, a selection of natural wines and non-alcoholic options. More info.
📅 12 Apr (Sat) / 12:00-16:00
Restaurant Suggestion:
Camino Brunch & Coffee (⭐4/5)
This café serves gluten-free breakfast and a range of dishes suitable for anyone, with or without allergies. The zucchini waffle with poached egg (shown in the picture) was fresh and well put together. The Turkish eggs with yogurt (in the picture) were also good. The service was friendly, and there is a large selection of gluten-free cakes available. Even without dietary restrictions, the menu has plenty of options worth trying.
