I was waiting to check out the exhibition myself before promoting it. I did, and it was great. Definitely not to be missed.
For a few days, an abandoned hotel will open to the public before it's demolished. Across nine floors, fifteen international artists will present light and sound installations, many shown in Berlin for the first time. You can move freely through the building, exploring dark hallways, quiet rooms, and works that reflect on themes often left aside. The space, once full of daily life, now holds a different kind of presence shaped by silence, memory, and shifting light. More info.

Restaurant Suggestion:
Kastanien Curry Junction (⭐4/5)
I'm usually skeptical of places that serve more than one type of cuisine (this one offers burgers, Mexican, and Indian food). But since it's not far from where I live, I decided to give it a try for lunch, and it turned out to be a nice surprise. The food is decent, there are a few different options, and the outdoor seating is a plus on warmer days. It's self-service, so you order at the counter and grab your own utensils, which adds to the casual vibe. Worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.
