Aug 25-31: Pop-Kultur, Berlin Atonal, Long Night of Museums, and more!
Things to do in Berlin - Week of Aug 25!
Berlin has weeks dedicated to all kinds of things, like Fashion Week and Art Week. Yet, despite its strong presence in the digital media art world, the city never had a week for that. Until Stav and his team decided to change it. That’s why I’m excited to have Berlin New Media Week as the sponsor of this week’s edition.
1. Berlin New Media Week
Berlin New Media Week is a citywide celebration of art, technology and culture, with a full program of club nights, exhibitions, audio-visual performances, talks, and workshops running between September 3-7. The Program.

Restaurant Suggestion:
Rubens Arepas - Venezuelan (⭐4/5)
This is a Venezuelan restaurant which has recently opened its second location in Prenzlauer berg. For this branch, the indoor sitting is very limited, but they have benches outside. The staff are friendly and it's a self service, you need to pick up your food and bring back the dishes. They have a simple menu with limited menu options of either beef ragout, chicken or vegan/vegetarian arepas. They also have bowls, which are generous in portion (in the image, there are the two available bowls, one with meat and other Vegan). They also have different appetizers, which we tried Yuca (a root vegetable) fries. The price are on the lower end (Arepas €8.90 and bowls are €12.60).
