1. VALIE EXPORT - Exhibition
The exhibition pays tribute to the extensive body of work by VALIE EXPORT, one of the most globally influential media and performance artists of the 20th century. Through her media-aware approach and critical feminist viewpoint, she fearlessly challenged societal norms and conventions. The exhibition showcases a wide range of works, from provocative expanded cinema performances to symbolic acts and conceptual photographs. Restaurant Review:
Lalibela Restaurant - Taste of Ethiopia
βThis weekβs restaurant is suggested by Mariona. You can follow her foodie adventures in Berlin on Instagram. Here is the video for Lalibela restaurant.
This hidden gem in Berlin serves the most colorful and varied combo, with small tastings of their signature dishes where the best of Ethiopian cuisine comes alive in a symphony of colors, aromas and tastes. My favourites were the Yebeg Tibs (cubbed tender lamb with onions, rosemary and tomato), the Doro Wot (chicken drumsticks slowly cooked in a thick stew with hard-boiled eggs) and the Misser Wolt (split lentils in medium-spicy sauce). βLalibella Comboβ is served nested on a soft sourdough flatbread called βinjeraβ, ideal to be eaten with the hands. It is a unique dining experience!Β
