1. VALIE EXPORT - Exhibition
The exhibition pays tribute to the extensive body of work by VALIE EXPORT, one of the most globally influential media and performance artists of the 20th century. Through her media-aware approach and critical feminist viewpoint, she fearlessly challenged societal norms and conventions. The exhibition showcases a wide range of works, from provocative expanded cinema performances to symbolic acts and conceptual photographs. These artworks reflect the diverse evolution of an artist, often serving as a crucial reference point for socio-political discussions. More info.
2. Berlin Independent Film Festival 2024
The Berlin Independent Film Festival supports low-budget filmmaking in Europe by providing new directors with the chance to showcase their work and exchange ideas. The festival features various genres, including feature films, documentaries, sci-fi/horror, LGBT films, short films, animated shorts, and music videos. All screenings are presented in English or with English subtitles. Tickets.
3. Ice Disco - Ice Skating and Dancing
The winter garden at Zenner provides a variety of winter activities, including warm drinks and ice skating. Every weekend, you can enjoy the legendary ice disco on the covered ice rink. The music program features top artists and collectives from the city to spice up the skating experience. You can bring your own skates or rent them on site for €5. More info.
4. WeinBerlin - Largest Wine Fair in Germany
At WeinBerlin, winemakers and wineries showcase their latest wine offerings. You can sample over 900 wines in the historic setting of the former imperial telegraph office and get detailed information from the participating wineries. 5. A Collector Between Two Worlds - Guided Tour
This exhibition centers around a collection of objects curated by Francis La Flesche (1857–1932) during the late 19th century. As North America's first Indigenous ethnologist, La Flesche's life and work offer insight into the experiences of Indigenous peoples of the Umóⁿhoⁿ community. The exhibition prompts reflection on the significance of the collection for the the community today, offering perspectives on their past and present lifestyle. More info.

6. BLUES BUMPS - Karsk | Hellzel | Sector 7G
Lockkunst e.V. and East Side Delta proudly present BLUES BUMPS, the late night underground gigs. The Kantine of BLO-Ateliers will turn heavy with:
KARSK [Heavy Prog, Berlin, Pink Tank Records]: Instrumental trio that rose in the dust of Berlin in 2018.
HELLZEL [Stoned Doom, Berlin]: The nectar of evil! Malefic trio coming from the doomiest sides of the Berliner underground. On stage giving you an appetizer of the upcoming debut EP.
📅 16 Feb (Fri) / 21:00 - 04:00
This hidden gem in Berlin serves the most colorful and varied combo, with small tastings of their signature dishes where the best of Ethiopian cuisine comes alive in a symphony of colors, aromas and tastes. My favourites were the Yebeg Tibs (cubbed tender lamb with onions, rosemary and tomato), the Doro Wot (chicken drumsticks slowly cooked in a thick stew with hard-boiled eggs) and the Misser Wolt (split lentils in medium-spicy sauce). “Lalibella Combo” is served nested on a soft sourdough flatbread called “injera”, ideal to be eaten with the hands. It is a unique dining experience!
