2. Out Of Place Artefacts - Berghain
Vril and Rødhåd present the third chapter of their collaboration Out Of Place Artefacts at Berghain, tied to the release of A Complex Interplay of Zeros and Ones on WSNWG on 20 February. The album shifts toward calmer soundscapes and more deliberate compositions, with contributions from GiGi FM, Sara Clarke and Peryl. Sara Clarke opens with a DJ set and Peryl joins on guitar. The evening combines live electronic performance with acoustic and vocal elements in the project’s blend of organic and synthetic sound. More info.

Holiday on Ice brings its new show Cinema of Dreams to the Tempodrom, with 37 international figure skaters and a story about friendship, courage and big dreams. 6. Mad in Berlin Pub Quiz with James Jackson
Geist im Glas hosts a German madness-themed pub quiz led by James Jackson. Teams of up to seven test their knowledge on psychodrama, politics and cringe. Entry is €10 per person and all proceeds fund the Mad in Berlin podcast. The winning team gets a €40 bar tab and second place receives a bottle of cava; the losing team gets shots. 7. Code Green – Climate Tech Hackathon
Net Impact ESMT Berlin runs a one-day climate hackathon at ESMT Berlin. Participants tackle a real sustainability challenge with real data, using coding, data and business skills to build solutions that could be deployed. The format includes AI/ML, data analysis and rapid prototyping, with mentor support and judging by industry leaders. Friday evening is opening and matchmaking so solo participants can form teams; Saturday is the full hack day with breakfast, lunch, mentor sessions and pitches. FIVE ACE Food & Drinks (⭐4/5)
This is a local mom-and-pop shop run by a couple. They serve mainly Vietnamese dishes like pho and bánh mì, along with a few sushi items. It feels more like a Vietnamese deli than a restaurant, as they also sell packaged goods and have limited seating. It's one of those places you grab lunch mid-week during your work break. I've tried different dishes here. The bánh mì is decent, and the pho is acceptable. They also have bánh bao, Vietnamese steamed buns which are very soft and fluffy. The prices are very reasonable and on the lower end, plus they accept cards. They've got different sweets too. One nice touch is that the kitchen is open, so you can see inside and know they're keeping things clean.
