Jan 29-Feb 04: Transmediale, VEKTOR Light Show, Live Music, and more!
Things to do in Berlin - Week of January 29, 2024!
Some people are good at asking for help, but that's not really my thing. But today, I've decided to ask for your help - no worries, it's not about money.
Two weeks ago, I went to a Jam Session in B-flat and met one of the subscribers from the πTelegram group. We had a good time, and it was nice having someone to go to the event with. When I asked him how he found out about the newsletter, he said a friend sent it to him, and he's happy he discovered it.
Now, I'd like your help to be that friend for your pals by sharing this newsletter with them. Who knows, they might enjoy it, go to an event, meet new people, and remember you for it.
Whether you decide to do it or not, I appreciate you and the time you spend reading the newsletter β€οΈ.
Here's a sneak peek of whatβs in store for you this week:

Renowned light artist Christopher Bauder, recognized for his 2014 installation "Lichtgrenze" marking the 25th anniversary of the Berlin Wall's fall, presents a performance titled "VEKTOR" at the striking industrial venue of "Kraftwerk Berlin." "VEKTOR" stands as Bauder's most personal work to date, weaving moments and fragments from his life into an abstract light art experience. The installation seamlessly integrates kinetic light from 50 moving lasers with a self-composed three-dimensional soundscape, resulting in a synesthetic masterpiece. More info.

Restaurant Review:
Cocolo Ramen - Mitte (β4/5)
The restaurant is open only for dinner. In winter, the backyard is closed, so the seating area is small, and there might be a wait. The ramen is tasty with decent portions. They don't serve alcohol. There's no restroom at the restaurant, but you can use the neighboring restaurant's restroom, which is owned by the same owner.
