July 03-09: Rave the Planet, Rum Festival, Photography Exhibition, and More!
Things to do in Berlin, week of July 03, 2023!
One of the "wonderful" perks of summer in Berlin is the overwhelming abundance of fruit flies that generously invade your apartment. But fear not, dear friends, for I have stumbled upon a miraculous contraption designed to lure these tiny creatures to their doom using the irresistible fragrance of vinegar! Here is the Amazon link to this glorious fruit fly trap, although I'm sure you can also find it in local stores throughout the city.
And fret not, dear Insect Rights Activists, for there's no need to engage in a bloodshed battle. You can simply trap these pesky flies and release them back into the wild, allowing them to continue their reign of annoyance elsewhere.
As always, I’ve dedicated several hours to curate the finest upcoming events in the city for you.
Here's a sneak peek of what's in store this week:

🎡 Fiesta Latina (Latin American Festival)
🏍️ Pure&Crafted (Bike & Music Festival)
🌎 Rave the Planet (Parade)
🍹 German Rum Festival

You can make the same flytrap with a glass and a sheet of paper. Put a spoiled strawberry or whatever those flies eat into a glass, roll paper in a cone, so there is a small hole in the bottom. Put the cone into the glass and secure with sticky tape or whatever.
It’ll save some plastic and spare fumes from Amazon logistics.
We're doing Katz Orange this week! Thank you, Zim.
