1. Classic Open Air on Gendarmenmarkt
Gendarmenmarkt turns into an open-air concert stage for six nights this July. The Konzerthausorchester Berlin opens the series, followed by evenings with Giovanni Zarrella, Joja Wendt, and violinist David Garrett performing his "Millennium Symphony" program, before the Dutch band HAEVN and a closing set from Alphaville bring the festival to an end. The program mixes classical repertoire with rock, pop, jazz, and opera, and some nights add a light show or fireworks to the performance. More info.

2. Durchlüften 2026
The Schlüterhof courtyard at Humboldt Forum turns into a free open-air event for four summer weekends, bringing together musical traditions from around the world. Each evening pairs two live acts with a DJ set, opening on July 9th with Canto Diáspora and Jatun Mama, and continuing through a lineup that ranges from Mauritanian desert blues to Andean futurism and Kurdish club sounds over the following weeks. 3. Heroines of Sound 2026
Radialsystem hosts a three-day festival dedicated to women and non-binary artists shaping electronic music and sound art, with concerts, installations, and scenic performances exploring the space between sound, performance, and technology. This year's program leans into the Asian and especially Japanese diaspora, bringing composers and musicians such as Kyoka, Miki Yui, and Nina Fukuoka alongside a portrait concert of Berlin composer Iris ter Schiphorst performed by ensemble mosaik. 4. Berlin Board Games Con
This is a three-day event dedicated to board and role-playing games for casual players and dedicated hobbyists alike. Spread across more than 10,000 square meters, the trade fair lets visitors try out new releases before they hit shelves, join tournaments and discussion rounds, or browse a large flea market where old and new games change hands. 5. Open Air Festival - From East to West
Holzmarkt spends a full day showcasing contemporary SWANA culture through music, fashion, food, craft, storytelling, and performance, running from noon into the night before an afterparty takes over until early morning. The lineup moves across several stages, with DJs, live sets, and a Moroccan Gnawa-inspired performance, alongside spoken word, dabkeh workshops, henna, and live painting. Food stalls serve Syrian and Egyptian classics, while the late-night program shifts into diaspora-rooted techno. More info.

7. Tempelhofer Feld Walk: I Want Out of Tech
For this event, Andra, a Berlin-based career coach leads a small, invite-only walk across Tempelhofer Feld for people working in tech or venture capital who feel unsatisfied despite outward success. Participants meet at the field's entrance before setting off on a roughly hour-long walk, using the open space as a backdrop for honest conversation about what isn't working and what might come next.
