July 17-23: Photography Exhibition, Open Air Music, CSD Parade, and More!
Things to do in Berlin, week of July 17, 2023!
I’ve decided to feature one event per week that is submitted by subscribers, fans, or anyone who comes across my page and believes their event could benefit from this platform. Initially, I was hesitant about showcasing events submitted by individuals, as it seemed to compromise the element of curation. However, I’ve discovered some cool events despite their niche audience.
I am utilizing this practice as a means to become more receptive to ideas that I was previously closed off to. In that same spirit, I started using a dishwasher a month ago! I used to wash dishes by hand, assuming that for just two people, it would take a long time to accumulate enough dishes to run a dishwasher effectively. However, upon learning about the water-saving benefits of a dishwasher, I decided to give it a try, and it has significantly reduced the time I spend on dishwashing.
⭐ What idea are you currently resisting that may not necessarily require resistance?
As always, I’ve dedicated several hours to curate the finest upcoming events in the city for you.
Here's a sneak peek of what's in store this week:
📷 IRAN inside out - Photography exhibition
🖼 Art Exhibition
😝 English Standup Comedy
🎵 Airing Out – Open Air Music
🎶 AYO City Festival - Music
🏳️🌈 Christopher Street Day - Parade

Enjoy and have fun!

Restaurant of the week:
No Bananas - Creative Turkish Restaurant - (Kreuzburg)
The restaurant serves innovative Turkish-inspired dishes and appetizers meant for sharing. It has a laid-back and trendy ambiance with seating available both at the bar and on the sidewalk. The restaurant's customer-centric approach is commendable. During our visit, we ordered two beers that weren't sufficiently chilled. After finishing the first round, we asked if they had any cold beer available when we wanted to order another round. The manager did not charge us for the lukewarm beers, even though we had already consumed them, and insisted that we were happy to pay.
