3. Resonant Conversation - Performance
Resonant Conversation is a musical project by composer Mehdi Hesamizadeh that explores sound as a form of dialogue shaped through microtonal tuning. The piece moves between themes of tradition, memory, place, and time, approaching each not as fixed points but as recurring reference marks. Performers use live sound processing to adapt the material as they play, shaping it moment by moment. The focus lies on how small shifts in tone and gesture create space for expression, allowing the music to speak in a way that suggests ongoing exchange rather than fixed narrative. Restaurant Suggestion:
Ma-Makan - Singaporean (⭐4/5)
This Singaporean restaurant is a great option for lunch with coworkers, especially if you work nearby. The menu features classic dishes like Hainanese chicken rice and coconut rice served with fried egg and anchovies (pictured), along with a variety of other Singaporean specialties. The coffee, made with condensed milk and salted butter, is worth trying. The staff are welcoming, the flavors are well-balanced with a good level of spice, and the food feels true to its roots. Card payments are accepted, and most dishes are priced around €14–15.
