1. Jazzdor Festival - Strasbourg-Berlin
Since 2006, the Jazzdor festival from Strasbourg has held an annual edition in Berlin. While it began as a way to present French jazz to German audiences, the Berlin edition has gradually taken on its own direction. The festival serves as a space for ongoing musical dialogue between Germany and France, shaped by both cities’ complex histories. Strasbourg, often positioned between two nations, and Berlin, once split and now unified, offer different but connected perspectives. More info.

The program includes live music, combined with reflections on environmental change. More info.

Restaurant Suggestion:
Magic John's Pizza (⭐4/5)
The photo I took doesn’t really do it justice, but this pizzeria serves solid slices. They offer two styles: New York and Detroit. The Detroit version is more like focaccia with pizza toppings, and it works. There’s no seating, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, though you can eat your slice there if you want. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s definitely worth stopping by.
