June 05-11: Porsche Sports Cars Exhibition, Citadel Music Festival, A Burlesque Show and More!
Things to do in Berlin, week of June 05, 2023!
When I go to a new country, there are two things I always do: I take public transportation, even if the taxis are really cheap, and I make sure to visit a couple of supermarkets. Riding public transport lets me observe how the locals look and act in their daily lives, which you don't really get to see in touristy spots, bars, or restaurants. And checking out supermarkets gives me a good idea of the cost of living and what kind of products are available in that particular country.
What are the one or two things you like to do when you visit a new country❓
As always, I’ve dedicated several hours to curate the finest upcoming events in the city for you.
Here's a sneak peek of what's in store this week:

Instead, the Citadel Music Festival takes concert-goers on a captivating tour through the most delightful months of the year. In 2023, the Spandau Citadel will host renowned acts such as The War On Drugs, Element of Crime, and Simply Red, who will grace the grand stage in front of the historical fortress. In their inaugural institutional solo exhibition, the artistic collective (LA)HORDE presents a captivating selection of video works. Through their choreographic approach, the collective delves into themes of rituality, classical dance, subcultures, and everyday life. Renowned for their groundbreaking approach to classical dance, (LA)HORDE constantly challenges the boundaries of bodily representation in public spaces, on social networks, and on stage. They view the stage as a political platform where choreographic languages intersect. Describing their practice as post-internet dance, the collective draws inspiration from the digital realm's diverse styles and rhythms. Read more.
