June 12-18: TENSOR Art Installation, Jewish Film Festival, Vegan Summer Festival, and More!
Things to do in Berlin, week of June 12, 2023!
About twelve years ago, I went to Prague for the first time with a friend. We were young so we thought it'd be a great idea to buy a bottle of Absinthe and have it at our hostel. The only problem was we needed an Absinthe spoon or something similar to light the sugar cube - soaked in Absinthe - on fire. Being students, we didn't want to buy an Absinthe spoon. My friend suggested asking a random restaurant for a fork instead. I thought it was a long shot. I mean, who would give a fork to a couple of random kids? But guess what? We walked into the restaurant, asked for a fork, and they actually gave it to us! Why am I sharing this story? It's simple:
You never know unless you ask!
Fast forward to now, I still live by that motto. Just recently, I decided to shoot a message to Andrew and Maurice from 20 Percent Berlin, asking if they could give a shoutout to Berlin Events Weekly in their newsletter. And you know what? They were super cool about it and actually recommended us alongside Handpicked for Berlin.
⭐ When was the last time you asked for help and people were happy to lend a hand?
As always, I’ve dedicated several hours to curate the finest upcoming events in the city for you.
Here's a sneak peek of what's in store this week:
