June 19-25: Fête de la Musique, International Cannabis Fair, Italian Street Food Festival, and More!
Things to do in Berlin, week of June 19, 2023!
A while back, I received a message from someone asking me to promote them on the newsletter. Honestly, I receive numerous requests every week to promote various events, and usually I have to decline because I don't want to show bias towards the events I recommend (although some may argue that 'curation' inherently entails subjectivity and bias in its selection of content!).
However, this time was slightly different. Instead of promoting an event, I was approached with a new concept. Abundo is a subscription service that provides unlimited access to live shows and a wide range of cultural events. For a monthly fee, you can attend as many events as you like, including movies, operas, concerts, comedy stand-ups, and more. You can check out their previous events here.
To cut the long story short, the Abundo team was kind enough to offer a one-month free subscription to my subscribers. Currently, the first month costs €9, and subsequent months are priced at €29. You can try Abundo for free by clicking on the following link (the link is valid until the 3rd of July):

⭐ Just to clarify, this is not a paid advertisement. I am promoting their platform because I genuinely believe you can benefit from their service, and you can try it without any risk. I tried it myself and loved the experience!
As always, I’ve dedicated several hours to curate the finest upcoming events in the city for you.

Restaurant of the week:
Dong A Restaurant - (Vietnamese restaurant - Charlottenburg)
The restaurant is located within KPM Hotel & Residence. It specializes in Vietnamese cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. They have a wide selection of delicious cocktails and beverages, and their prices are reasonable given the location. However, the service can be slow during lunchtime due to the influx of nearby businesses choosing this place for lunch, as there are limited dining options in the neighborhood.
