1. A Life in Film – The Works of Lana Gogoberidze
⭐ Event suggested by Julia
Arsenal will showcase a lifetime of filmmaking by Georgian director Lana Gogoberidze. Just as the autobiographical often finds its way into her films, she consistently places the political within the private sphere. Her films typically revolve around the perspectives of women who defend their happiness in the shadow of overpowering political systems and strive to preserve their independence. You can find the movies and screening times here.

2. Improvised & Experimental #192 - Sound Installation
Hošek Contemporary is hosting two improvised and experimental sound installations. The first features Daniel Bryden on electronics and objects, accompanied by Andreea Hriscu's performance. The second installation showcases Ingólfur Vilhjálmsson on bass clarinet and electronics, complemented by the dance performances of Mariangela Tinelli and Roberta Ricci. The venue is quite unique - it's a gallery set in a barge. More info.

The Feuerle Collection features exquisite contemporary arts and early Imperial Chinese furniture from various eras of Chinese dynasty history. Housed in a converted Second World War telecommunications bunker, the location also hosts an Open Meditation Hour every Thursday. The concept of visiting The Feuerle Collection revolves around a silent, mobile-detox, synesthetic approach to an unexpected world of juxtapositions. The experience includes a passage through the Sound Room and a stroll by the Lake Room. More info.

Restaurant Review:
Kimchi Mama - Korean BBQ (⭐4/5)
This is a cosy family-operated Korean restaurant with all the traditional dishes you'd expect. It's often a challenge for me to find something reasonably priced and of good value in Kudamm, but this place is a solid choice.
