Mar 24-30: Opera, East German Trade Fair, Film Festival, and more!
Things to do in Berlin - Week of March 24!
This weekend, I took the Under the Berlin Wall tour with Berliner Unterwelten. The tour focused on the stories of people who dug tunnels to escape and how they tried to flee the communist dictatorship. It was fascinating to hear their stories, see the tunnels, and gain a deeper understanding of the history of the city we live in. I highly recommend taking at least one of their tours to better understand Berlin’s past and get a chance to see some of the bunkers and historically significant sites.

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe is joined by pianist Sunwook Kim for a program centered on Beethoven’s Piano Concertos Nos. 3 and 4. Restaurant Suggestion:
CHIKOGI - Korean Restaurant (⭐4/5)
Good Korean food. They have other branches with the same menu, though under different names. The grill BBQ option looked solid. Prices might be around 10% higher than at other Korean restaurants, but overall, it's a solid choice.
