Restaurant Suggestion:
Tenur - Kurdish Restaurant (⭐4/5)
This is a Kurdish restaurant in Kreuzberg that recently updated its menu. It used to focus more on grilled dishes, but now offers a wider variety of food from across the region, including Kurdish specialties, Arabic mezze, and Turkish dishes. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming, which adds a lot to the experience. The atmosphere feels very traditional, with Kurdish and Turkish music playing in the background, paintings of Kurdistan on the walls, and tablecloths that resemble regional handicrafts. The food is solid, with both meat and vegetarian options available. We tried the Manti with meat, which are small dumplings filled with meat and served in a yogurt sauce. We also had Kutilk, a Kurdish dumpling dish with veal filling, also served with yogurt sauce. They bring warm bread to the table as well. Prices are around €20 per person including a soft drink, and they accept both cash and cards.
