1. Doxumentale 2026
Doxumentale is an international documentary film and media festival, now in its third edition in Berlin. The program spans documentary screenings, VR experiences, readings, DJ sets, and conversations with filmmakers and experts. The main hub is at the Atrium Tower and The Playce at Potsdamer Platz, with additional screenings across cinemas and open-air venues throughout the city. The program.

2. XJAZZ! Weekender
The XJAZZ! Weekender is a four-day music festival running May 28-31 across several Berlin venues, including Emmauskirche, Festsaal Kreuzberg, and Adidas Sports Base. The program opens Thursday with an intimate organ-and-flute performance, moves into a Refuge Worldwide radio takeover and sets by Sorvina and others on Friday, and brings Moses Yoofee Trio and a late-night party at Marmor Bar to Saturday. Sunday closes the weekend with a dance and DJ collective session. More info.

3. Berlin Design Week
Berlin Design Week, now in its tenth edition, runs with a new festival hub at the Macherei in Kreuzberg alongside satellite locations spread across the city. The program brings together exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, panel discussions, and presentations from designers, artists, studios, agencies, and universities, with a focus on sustainable communication and design as a force for social and ecological change. 4. Weirdwaves Underground Festival Berlin
WEIRDWAVES is a two-day post-punk, synth-wave, and avant-garde festival celebrating Berlin’s underground DIY culture. Across three stages, the festival brings together live music, drag performances, audiovisual installations, exhibitions, film screenings, and after-shows. Rooted in the city’s independent and rebellious spirit, WEIRDWAVES creates an inclusive, gender-positive, and barrier-free space for alternative art, music, and non-commercial subculture. More info.

5. Berlin Chili Fest: Spring Event
The Berlin Chili Fest returns to Berliner Berg Brauerei for a three-day outdoor hot sauce and spicy food festival. Vendors from across Europe set up stalls with hundreds of hot sauces, fresh chilis, and food including vegan options, all backed by a beer garden, cocktails, and evening live music. Saturday and Sunday each feature an amateur chili eating competition, while Saturday also includes a spicy cabaret show. More info.

6. Grape Odyssey Vol.4
Grape Odyssey returns to Berlin on May 31, featuring 100+ natural wines from 30+ winemakers across Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, and Croatia.
