7. SAABA / Minus 16 - Dance Performance
This performance presents two contemporary works. The first is a thirty minute piece set to Cuban and Israeli music that uses a movement method developed by the choreographer, asking dancers to build movement from personal sensation and choice rather than fixed steps. The second is a new work built from long phrases, clear unison, and shifting formations. The music blends pop with other styles and guides the tempo, shaping a steady rise and fall through the piece. Restaurant Suggestion:
Charme Thai Bistro Cafe (⭐4/5)
A small neighborhood Thai restaurant with friendly staff and fresh ingredients. The menu covers classic starters, color curries in yellow, red, and green, and several Thai noodle soups. We ordered red curry with duck and red curry with beef, each served with Thai vegetables and rice, plus a noodle soup with the right level of heat. The Tom Yum soup in the photo was also well made, with plenty of vegetables and a generous portion. Average main prices are around €14. Payment by card or cash is accepted, and there are a few benches outside for seating.
