Things to do in Berlin - Week of Oct 20!
I was talking with a friend about life. He used a phrase that made me think deeply: the pleasure of life. Not the pleasures in life, but life itself as a pleasure. The act of living. It kept me thinking all afternoon.

Restaurant Suggestion:
Mamida Sourdough Pizza (⭐4/5)
This neighborhood favorite serves sourdough pizzas with a strong focus on vegetarian and vegan options, plus a smaller meat selection. The Inferno pizza was warmly spiced rather than fiery, the Salami was solid, and the Bacon Blue used a creamy base instead of tomato. Pizzas average about €15. The wine list is reasonably priced, though the Chianti tasted plain. Service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Reservations are wise on weekends, and the outdoor seating fills up fast in summer. Cards are accepted.
