Spanning 19,000 square meters and 14 halls, the festival will feature large-scale light and sound installations, electronic live acts, performances, cinema, and art talks. 8. Berlin Art Week Special Project: The Loft presents Soft Power
The Loft presents Soft Power, a program that fosters encounters between art, music, and performance. The format sets a framework where party, ritual, and discourse meet, inviting participants to explore contemporary culture together. Within this open microcosm, new perspectives develop across design, literature, sound, movement, and identity, as artists and audiences gather as an interdisciplinary community and treat culture as a shared, living space. Restaurant Suggestion:
Tacos El Rey (⭐4/5)
This taco shop comes from the team behind Taquería El Oso, formerly at Markthalle Pfefferberg. It offers plenty of indoor seating, a few tables outdoors, and a colorful interior. Service is quick and friendly, and the menu highlights meat-based tacos with some vegetarian and vegan choices. All tacos are prepared with fresh corn tortillas made in-house and cost around €5 each. Portions are modest, so ordering three tacos is a good idea. A variety of salsas are served at the table, adding range and flavor to each bite. Drinks focus on mezcal and tequila, while Michelada is available but less recommended.
