Sept 22-28: Coffee Week, Festival of Giant Kites, Ramen Festival, and more!
Things to do in Berlin - Week of Sept 22!
I was in Amsterdam this week. On the way back, the Deutsche Bahn train broke down, so everyone had to wait, detour to another city, change trains, and eventually reach Berlin. I thought I should have taken a plane, but I chose the environmentally friendly option (the train was cheaper, but the company was paying anyway). It turned out KLM staff were on strike that day.
The moral of the story: sometimes you will not get home on time.

Restaurant Suggestion:
Lecker Song - Chinese Restaurant (⭐4/5)
This small dumpling shop has two outdoor tables and a few inside, so seating is limited. The menu sticks to handmade dumplings plus a couple of simple appetizers. Dumplings come with colorful doughs and fillings from vegetarian to meat and shrimp. A portion of four to five costs about €5 to €7. Dishes arrive together and the trays are stacked to keep everything warm. Favorites were the beef dumplings and the fried tofu dumplings. The cabbage kimchi and cucumber salad were fine but not essential. Payment is cash only and tap water costs €0.50.
