2. Chopin and Bach in the Kolonnadenhof
A free open-air piano recital pairs Chopin and Bach in the Kolonnadenhof on Museum Island. The concert marks the anniversary of Berlin's twin-city partnership with Warsaw and echoes the tradition of the Sunday Chopin concerts in Warsaw's Łazienki Park. Swiss pianist Cédric Pescia performs the recital under the open sky. More info.

3. Long Night of Astronomy
The Zeiss Großplanetarium open its doors for a night of stargazing and hands-on astronomy for all ages. You can look through telescopes set up around the building, join craft stations and lectures, or step inside the mobile planetarium "Intense." The on-site cinema screens a live broadcast of the solar eclipse, and clear skies could reveal the Perseid meteor shower at its peak that same night. More info.

6. 65 Years Construction of the Berlin Wall
Exhibitions, concerts, and guided tours mark the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall across the city. The program centers on a temporary memorial at the Brandenburg Gate, where a 30-meter installation stands alongside the open-air exhibition "Mauerblicke. 7. Rave the Planet
Rave the Planet turns the area between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column into a huge techno parade and a demonstration supporting Berlin’s club culture. Founded by Dr. Motte, the event takes place under the motto “Imagine Love” and calls for electronic music to be recognized as cultural heritage and for clubs to remain open. International DJs and music labels join the parade, including Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, and Westbam. More info.

8. The Bones Are Beautiful
Zora Kirin releases her debut solo EP "The Bones Are Beautiful" with a live show at Speakeazy Stage & Studio. The release lands on her 40th birthday, closing out years of storytelling with an acoustic folk record that treats hardship as part of the deal rather than something to hide. Support comes from Gözde Berberoğlu, who blends Turkish musical heritage with folk, jazz, and blues, and from Hibana, a singer-songwriter and koto player mixing ambient, pop, and folk textures..
